Project 3M - Multimedia Multipliers from the Margins

Zavod APIS je v sodelovanju z organizacijo Balkanska iniciativa za toleranciju iz Srbije v februarju 2016 izvedel trening digitalnega pripovedovanja s pomočjo videa in fotografije za mladinske delavce. Usposabljanje je prvi del enoletnega projekta 3M – Multimedia Multipliers from the Margins, namenjenemu izmenjavi dobrih praks uporabe tehnologije za večjo socialno vključenost. Projekt je bil odobren v okviru programa Erasmus+ za razvoj kapacitet organizacij na področju mladinskega dela. V partnerstvo je povezal 12 organizacij iz 12 držav.

"This is a story about Aleksander. He became a photographer and he transformed his fears, pain and loneliness into photography. He chose eight photos to reflect his biggest challenges and became a co-author of the film." I am Xhan

"I am Xian" is a short film about a Pakistani migrant, who left Pakistan as a boy, traveled through many countries by himself and lived in Greece. Because of the economic crises Greece was facing, he moved to Serbia where he was based at the time. Telmo Alcobia, Jamel Elgowille and Dafina Aliji made the film "I am Xian" in the frame of the project 3M: Multimedia Multipliers from Margins. APIS Institute implemented a training on socially engaged use of video and photography in Belgrade. The training was part of capacity building ERASMUS+ project, coordinated by BIT from Belgrade. Special thanks to Xian, for sharing his story, to Miloš Janković, for helping and making this film possible, to Edin for helping with the interview. This film was possible only because of their support. Ad Aspera Ad Astra // Mirko Kaldaraš from GRUBB Foundation

Film "Ad Aspera Ad Astra - Through Hardship to the Stars" is a short film about Mirko Kaldaraš, a a talented chemist and a Roma from Serbia. He comes from a poor Roma family where education was not much appreciated. Very soon he realized the education can be a game-changer. With his determination he managed to get the highest grades in the university and attend international chemistry competitions. He is finishing his studies and working with Roma kids at the same time, to give them a positive example. In the frame of GRUBB Serbia he works in Novi Sad's Youth Centre.
